Ahoy Matey!

"Something is happening here, But you don't know what it is, Do you Mr. Jones?" -Bob Dylan

Santa Barbara was a dream, and it put me into a dreamy mood. They say it's America's only European city. And judging by the quality of the people, the richness of the food, the charming, adobe structures, it seemed like a sure bet. We rocked a good set and met a guru in the music industry who's collaborated with big names like Madonna and has sold some somewhere in the vicinity of 2 million records. He was a cool chap! I like the guy - I hope he likes our CD too. It's the blind leading the blind in this industry, until you learn well enough how to do it, and then once you learn how, you then just have to make sure you do it better than the next person, and then keep doing it or be swallowed up by the tide - which is exactly where we found ourselves.

Later that night, we sat under the full moon, looking out the capsized remains of a sailboat, helm's deep in the sand. It was majestic. I am about to state my personal credo here for the first time, but merely to affirm, my belief that man is an individual and independent entity. That we are seekers and journeyers on the cusp of an immediate inception of our dreams, however big or small. That's too deep, much to deep for this quickly changing scenery outside the window. But you see what I mean, I can't help it, Santa Barbara put me into a dreamy mood.
