I feel great. Slept next to a big cuddly dog and a warm cozy fire last night. It was wonderful. I got to see some old friends at the show! That is my favorite part of this journey, meeting up with different friends along the way and making new ones where ever we go.
We cut it kind of close getting to the gig, things were a bit rushed as the drive from Sacramento to Portland took longer than expected. Things worked themselves out in the end.
We stayed at my friend Kyle's house.
We spent the morning sipping coffee, listening to Bob Dylan records (swoon!), and getting cleaned up (hooray for another shower). I went on a walk in the brisk winter air, it was very refreshing. It has been a long time since I have been in weather this cold and at this point I am enjoying it. I encountered many animals and some spectacular views (see facebook for more pictures). I felt very peaceful and inspired in Portland. Life is good, traveling is great.
We just pulled up to the Columbia Seattle Theatre, so for now I must go!
