Socks make a world of difference

This has been a pretty easy trip so far. When thinking about coming on this tour I pictured all of us "roughing it". In my opinion, this has not been the case for us. Although we have had to be a little more creative in how we go about our daily routine, overall we are very comfortable.

We took showers yesterday at an RV park and all of us felt super refreshed! What a difference a shower makes, and believe me we all were in need of a shower. I had to admit that it was the first time in my life I had to pay to shower. I feel like people should have PAID ME to shower.

I'll be honest (the beauty of blogs) I didn't really dig SLO all that much. Watching the drunken antics of the college kids just kind of put a bad taste in my mouth about SLO. I'm bummed too because I had high hopes for the town. The people there were very hospitable though, we were offered three different places to crash for the night.

I learned Texas hold 'em last night and got my butt whooped. Love me some good humus and pita chips. Slept with socks on and it made a world of difference in warmth, everyday is chillier and chillier. Sacramento here we come!
